The Community Center of Northern Westchester announced this year’s Dowling Educational Scholarship winners.

Martha Ibarra received the award for the third year in a row, in support of her nursing studies at Westchester Community College; and Sandra Ramon, a 2011 Fox Lane graduate, will attend City College in the fall.

The scholarships are given each year in honor of longtime Community Center supporters Jim and Fran Dowling.

This is the third year for the scholarship program. The scholarship is awarded by a committee of Community Center Board members. Eligible applicants include any client of the Center, or a child or a Center client.
