"The district is working in conjunction with the Town [of Lewisboro], advising residents to treat downed power lines as though they are live and to be cautious to stay out of harms way," said Paul Kreutzer, superintendent of K-L schools. "The town is also urging parents to avoid allowing their children to go trick-or-treating today because of the dangers caused by downed power lines, which are safety threats. The district hopes to collaborate with the Town and provide children with a future opportunity to celebrate Halloween once these current issues have been resolved."
