Frugal Family: A Spring Wine Sale, the Arrival of the Grill, and a St. Patrick’s Day Pet Deal

This week's hottest deals!

After one of the toughest winters on record, we can finally start looking for signs of spring.  One such sign is Bedford Wine Merchants’ Spring Pre-Sell Event, which is aimed at helping customers find wine for upcoming barbeques and other springtime entertaining.

Speaking of barbeques, Charles Department Store in Katonah just announced that their grill department is officially opened.  Stop by to pick up a grill, and then check out the ongoing sale, with discounts up to 60 percent off select winter items.

Here’s a list of the hottest deals of the week:

1)      Bedford Wine Merchant’s Spring Pre-Sell Event (Bedford)

Deal:  Save up to 40 percent on over 70 wines from around the world.  You can view the wines online, or taste before you buy during a Saturday March 26 in-store tasting.

Good Through:  Sunday, April 3.

2)      Charles Department Store’s Sale to Make Room for the New Spring Items (Katonah)

Deal:  The Grill Department has officially opened, the new spring clothes have arrived, and so the winter items must go!  Save up to 60 percent off selected winter items.

Good Through:  While supplies last.

3)      Pets Alive Lucky Charms St. Patrick's Adoption Event (Elmsford)

Deal:  Adopt a specially selected Lucky Legacy Pet for $50.  All Lucky Pets adopted from Pets Alive are spayed/neutered, micro chipped and up to date on all vaccinations. If you wear green to the event, you will receive a free gift. Choose your new pet during this event and be entered into the Lucky Charms Raffle for prizes valued at $50 or more.
