Welcome back, Patch Blogger!

How Well Do You Know Bedford?

Welcome to the first installment of our summer facts and photos game. This week, a photo and a question: Where is the second-smallest cemetery in town?

It's summer—let's play a game.

Welcome to "How Well do You Know Bedford?" a weekly game in which we'll post a photo and a question. Guess where the photo is taken, and/or the answer to our trivia question, and you'll win some Patch swag.

Don't worry if you can't guess right away! Check the Bedford Patch Facebook page for clues until someone guesses it. And we just may post a second photo as a hint if no one can answer the question.

Feel free to post in the comments section below as soon as you know where the photo was taken, or who is buried there. We'll provide the answer later, courtesy of Patrick Rafterty, author of The Cemeteries of Westchester County.

If you have any suggestions for the upcoming reader games, send your tips or photographs to lisab@patch.com.

About this column: In this column, we'll pose a series of photos and questions to test your knowledge of locations around Bedford. Related Topics: Cemeteries and History

Too good, Peter! The single gravestone is adjacent to the West side of Metro North, between between 264 Adams Street and 225 Railroad Avenue. Patch pens on their way to you...Now who can tell us who's buried there?

The stone marks the grave of Nicholas Haight who died in 1817. The graves of other Haight family members and their grave markers have been lost to development.
