A Mount Kisco man accused of robbing a man at knifepoint was arrested by Bedford police at a local residence early Tuesday morning.
Michael Cucolo, 24, was charged with first-degree robbery, a B felony, and third-degree assault, an A misdemeanor, after police found him with a knife and the belongings of the victim who reported the incident, according to Lt. Jeffrey Dickan.
The victim, 20, of Stamford, CT, told police he had gone to the Mobil Gas station at 193 Pound Ridge Road to meet a friend when an unknown male "jumped him," striking him in the face several times with a knife, just after midnight.
The suspect took some of his belongings and fled on foot, police said.
Investigating officers determined the suspect had gone to a residence on Middle Patent Road. They arrested Cucolo there and brought him to police headquarters where he was being held prior to an arraignment in Bedford.
