Networking Event Draws 250 Women to Katonah
The third annual Women Promoting Women event gathered businesswomen and entrepreneurs for an evening of networking.
Over 250 women gathered for an evening of networking called "Women Promoting Women" at Katonah Paint and Hardware Wednesday night.
Co-chaired by Mary Ricci, an interior designer and color specialist, and Tracey Leigh Rojas, who will help Ricci launch a mentoring program to expand the concept of WPW to include young girls and students.
Here are some highlights, provided by Ricci, of the women and businesses involved. Click through the photo gallery for more:
- Nina Bueti, Sollia Salon, Owner, Kathy Oliveri Sollia Salon, Stylist
- Tracy Rojas, "Play it Forward" mentoring
- Danielle Ricci sold $200 in raffle tickets to benefit Gilda's Club. The raffle will be continuing until Oct. 21st.
- Maureen Lanning of Bedford Village Florist donated a floral arrangement

Other guests include Kevin Eberly, Co-Founder of "United in Their Honor," a nonprofit that supports U.S. troops. Katonah Paint and Hardware is now a designated drop-off point for care package items to be sent to troops. State Sen. Greg Ball made an appearance as well.
