New Scholarships Available at St. Patrick's School in Bedford

The funds will be available through an endowment set up by Joseph and Cecilia McKenney.

in Bedford announced they will now offer scholarships ranging from $500 to $3,000 for students in kindergarten through eighth grade beginning next year.

The funds will be awarded through an endowment launched by Cecilia and Joseph McKenney, parishioners and parents at the school, Monsignor George Thompson jointly announced with Jennifer Ciavirella, principal, at the school's annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner and Auction on March 17.

The McKenneys provided the school with $30,000 to begin the scholarship fund.  They began this fund from a fundamental belief that all families should have the option to educate their children in a loving, God-centered environment. "Giving is at the heart of Catholic values and giving back to our Catholic schools is part of that commitment," the McKenneys said.
