Friday Upate: Road Closures in Bedford

The list of 130 local roads with full or partial road closures is down from that high mark.

We'll keep this list updated as we receive new information from police. As of Thursday afternnon, fewer than 30 roads were closed and the list of partially closed and passable was dwindling.

Local highway crews have cleared about 65 roads of trees in the past two days.

Bedford Police are maintaining this and updating it regularly. Local tree services—and neighbors handy with a chainsaw—are helping out where there are no live wires, but until NYSEG sends a crew to work with local highway workers, many cannot be cleared.
