Patch Holiday Decorations Contest—Win Money for Charity, Prizes
From now until Dec. 20, upload a photo of the outside of your house decorated for the holidays. The winner will receive a $250 donation to a local charity and more Patch prizes.
Tis the season for wrapping gifts, baking cookies…and transforming your home into a holiday masterpiece. Whether you drape your house in lights, put out lots of inflatable characters or create a one-of-a-kind holiday scene on your front yard, we want to see it.
Starting today, Patch is hosting its first annual Westchester Holiday Decorations Contest. Think your house has the best holiday décor in the County? Now's your chance to show it.
Between now and Dec. 20 at 5 p.m., upload one photo of the outside of your house to this article. All the photos submitted will be posted on this article, so feel free to browse through. All entries will be reviewed by two Patch judges, who will make their decision on first, second and third place winners.
On Dec. 22, we'll announce the grand prize winner, who will get a $250 donation made in their name to the Food Bank of Westchester, a Patch tote and water bottle and a $50 Target gift card. Second place gets a Patch tote and water bottle and a $25 Target gift card, while third place gets a Patch tote and a $25 Target gift card.
Here are the details:
- Show us your house dressed up in its holiday best
- Simply snap one photo of the front of your house, and then upload it directly to this article.
- Deadline: The contest runs from Dec. 9 at 6 a.m. through 5 p.m. on Dec. 20. The winner will be announced on Dec. 22.
- Eligibility and rules: Your house must be in Westchester County. When uploading the photo, you MUST include your name and town in the caption—otherwise we won't know who you are and then how can we get you your prize? You may only upload one photo of your house, one time. Official rules are listed in the PDF to the right.
Directions on uploading photos:
After you've registered with Patch (you can sign up by clicking the "Sign Up" link in the upper right hand corner of the page), simply click on "Add photos" under the photo in this article. Then, click choose file to upload, select your photo and add a caption—that's it.
