To get us kicked off, we have an introductory message from Mega Mixer Business Expo Committee Chair Mike Dardano of Buzz Potential.

Today, we launch the Business Council of Westchester’s Mega Mixer Business Expo 2012 blog. This year's Mega Mixer will be held at the Hilton Rye Town on March 15th, 2012. Alan Berkson from Intelligist Group has graciously volunteered to manage the blog and will keep you informed on the latest news and happenings.

We are celebrating 10 years of growth and success of the largest business event in Westchester. We have come a long way from that first show with 30 or so tables and a couple hundred attendees. We now have 200 booths and thousands of business people walking the floor to experience the best business offerings in the area.

Our overall theme throughout these ten years has always been about connecting businesses together, to help foster economic growth and vitality in the region, and bring together all size and types of companies with customers and prospects to exchange ideas and knowledge. This year, we continue that direction with a keynote address and ribbon cutting ceremony with our County Executive, Rob Astorino.  We will also offer a panel of business experts that will impart valuable advice on how you can grow your business. Watch this blog for more details in the coming weeks.

I would like to thank Business Council of Westchester President, Dr. Marsha Gordon for her vision and support. She has been a great partner in this process and her staff has been exemplary. A special note of thanks to Ebony White and Hillary Millman for their great work these past few years. The Business Council Board of Directors has been a major supporter and I would like to thank past and present members for their help in the last decade.
