Little Joe's Books is participating in a national contest which challenges bookstores to decorate themselves in yarn in celebration of the well-reviewed book, The Extra Yarn, and is looking for your input. The store is looking for hand-knit loaners to be used for the decorating project. The items can be dropped off at either Little Joe's or Katonah Yarn before February 25th, and will be returned the beginning of March. The store is also looking for extra balls of yarn, which will be donated to the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women afterwards.
As a thank you, Little Joe's Books and Katonah Yarn invites participants to a Knitting & Wine Party at Little Joe's on Wednesday, February 29th, from 6-8 p.m.
