Neighbors Link Gathering; Town Board Meeting [UPDATE]

Bedford's taxi public hearing will not be held tonight, the town announced.


ORIGINAL POST:
1. Mount Kisco-based immigrant services group Neighbors Link will announced that it will have a luncheon called “Women and the Global Immigrant Experience." It will be today at 12 p.m. at Glen Arbor Golf Club in Bedford Hills. The speaker will be Maria Otero, who served as an undersecretary of state. Details are at this link.

2. Although local elections are done, the current Bedford Town Board still has work before the new members join. The board will meet tonight at 7:45 p.m., according to its agenda, at the town house in Bedford Hills. Agenda items include a public hearing on taxi cabs, discussion of traffic on Route 172 and of creating a beautification task force for Katonah. The agenda is at this link.

3. The National Weather Service predicts that it will be partly sunny today with a high temperature of 58 degrees in Bedford and Bedford Hills, and at 59 degrees in Katonah.

4. Cellist Edward Arron will be performing tonight 8 p.m. at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, according to this announcement. He will be there along with the Bedford Chamber Ensemble and Anthony Newman.

5. The Bedford Free Library announced that it will have "Gadgets with Greg," which will be for technology questions. It will be today at 3:30 p.m.
