I went to the public hearing and I have to say that the board has no sound plan to help transition the children to a new school, it's sad to say that they have more technical details, than they do details on how they will deal with the emotional transition of children changing schools. They say it's still in the works, were still working on it, then in another breath they state well we will be deciding by december if we will be closing LES and in January we will notify the parents. The board of education is completely unprepared and certainly doesn't seem like they will have everything together by December and if they claim they do it sure will be a half a** job! My suggestion keep on the board and parents advocate! advocate! advocate!!!
