Used to be that homes would be purchased in a seasonal pattern that was very predictable: Spring for buying, Summer for moving, Fall for last minute selling. That's all "out the window" now.
With the internet providing access to information, real estate agents provide access to properties only AFTER consumers have done their research. Gen X and Gen Y buyers can recite price per square foot statistics per town and negotiate wisely. A good agent can, of course, bring the larger picture into the equation.

Anyway, it's been busier than ever around here. Buyers are jumping in to purchase while values are still to be had and while interest rates remain low. So, Summer and Fall seem to be new Spring in real estate.
