Meet Faith, Who Needs a Home

Faith was born into the shelter and contracted a severe upper respiratory infection that left her unable to nurse. As a result, she was hand raised in a loving foster home.

Faith, whose mother is a Sheltie/Irish Setter mix and whose father probably had Beagle in him, is 16 lbs. and 4 1/2 months old. She was born into the shelter on Thanksgiving day and developed a severe upper respiratory infection that made her unable to nurse by 7 days of age when she came to us.

Rejected by her mother, this baby kept her faith as she was hand raised in a tender and loving foster home with literally, hour by hour attention for several weeks. She faithfully withstood much poking and prodding, remaining quite the sweetheart throughout.

A little behind in her growth, but not her development, she is now strong, healthy, beautiful, sweet and playful. She loves people and other dogs and is learning about all there is to see in the world.

Cuter than a button, with her oversized ears and adorable romp, she absolutely loves playing with her toys or other dogs, but also relishes being held and coddled like the baby she is. Housebroken if kept on a schedule, (and getting better everyday), she knows “sit” and “down” and is working on her other basic training.

Faith is smart, eager to please, tender and absolutely scrumptious! Named because we had faith in her ability to survive and she had faith in us to help her, this angel is deserving of only the best home, so please only apply if you plan to treasure this girl as much as she will you.
