Bedford Central Students Selected For All-State Music Ensembles

Two Fox Lane High School musicians have been selected from thousands of students throughout New York State to participate in the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) All-State Ensembles.

 Sara Snadowsky, a 12^th grade soprano, was selected to perform in the Women’s Chorus and Leigh Tooker, an 11^th grade alto, was selected for the Vocal Jazz Ensemble.       

 Selection for participation was based upon the student’s solo performance rating in the NYSSMA Solo Festivals held this past spring, in which over 10,000 students vied for spots in the All-State Ensembles.  Sara and Leigh participate in the Fox Lane High School choral program under the direction of Edward Reisert.  The state conference will be held December 1^st through December 4^th, 2011 at the Rochester Convention Center, Rochester, New York.
