Private Bryan Tyler Robertson, 19, of Katonah graduated from United States Marine Corps boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island on December 14, 2012. Private Robertson successfully completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training at MCRD Parris Island as one of 537 recruits in Training Kilo Company, Platoon 3102. While in basic training Private Robertson qualified as an Expert Rifleman and was a Squad Leader during The Crucible. Following 15 days home on leave he will report to Camp LeJeune for one month at Military Combat Training then Military Occupation Specialty school.

The Board of Education believes its primary…Read More responsibility should focus on creating an educational environment that will help our students become knowledgeable individuals, problem-solvers, quality producers, effective communicators, wholesome individuals, collaborative workers, ethical individuals, life-long learners, and responsible, accepting and involved citizens. We remain committed to providing a high quality, well-balanced educational program that supports our faculty and staff and helps our students meet and exceed State standards as well as high district goals.
It says nothing about protecting the investments of taxpayers by voting "no" on every expenditure. We need forward thinking, broad minded individuals to help guide educational direction of our schools. Keeping expenses reasonable and and in check should be a consideration by the educational focus should be primary. Although novices, Trustees Tobin and Schiff have helped true the course of the board back to the direction of education. Mr Stone who himself admitted he had never even been to a BOE meeting before deciding to run offers no sense of motivation other than Dr Treyz and his friends think he'll help shift the direction back toward finance. Mr Holbrook is no different a candidate than Mr Lipton himself was 6 years ago.
