BVES Annual Spelling Bee

Congratulations to the winners of the Sixth Annual Bedford Village Elementary School Spelling Bee!  Our skilled pronouncers this year were Terry Volttagio and JoAnna Hamilton.  With 96 students participating, our final first place winners had serious competition to win the gold.  After a riveting three hour competition our winners are Jamie Boniello for 2nd Grade who won with the word "third" and Elizabeth McCormick for 3rd grade whose winning word was "intelligent".  Our 4th grade winner was Austin Putter with the winning word "language" and finally for 5th grade we have Erin Blake winning the gold with "animation".  This is a third win for both Austin and Erin.  Congratulations to all participants, you are all winners for joining the spelling bee.
