Camerata d'Amici Conducting Auditions for 2013-2014 Season

Local choral group Camerata d'Amici is seeking new members for all voice parts for the 2013-2014 season, beginning September 3rd. Drawing singers from Ridgefield and other surrounding towns in Fairfield and Westchester counties, Camerata rehearses Thursday evenings at South Salem Presbyterian Church in South Salem, NY from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Formed in 2006 and directed by Kristin Sponheim of Redding, CT, the group's repertoire features a wide range of choral music, both sacred and secular.  The 2013-2014 season will include three concerts:  a Christmas concert on December 15th, a midwinter concert on March 2nd, and a year-end spring concert on May 18th.

Describing the attributes of the group Sponheim said, "Camerata d'Amici is always thrilled to welcome new singers to our group.  We enjoy making music together, and communicating that music to our audiences."
