MPES Book Fair

In early December, Meadow Pond Elementary School held its fall book fair in the hallway outside the cafeteria. Students were encouraged to browse various book genres pertaining to a wide variety of subjects. Children selected and purchased Scholastic books and posters with the assistance of PTA co-chairs Debbie Ferman and Anmarie Galgano. The book fair ended on a sweet note, with a fun-filled PTA gingerbread house making event.

Fourth graders Ava Kersh and Morgan Edgar purchased books for themselves and their relatives.

“We really like to read,” they both said. Matthew Wittner, also a fourth grader, agreed. “Yes, I like to read – especially fictional animal books!”
