Dedication for Katonah Presbyterian Church Addition

The First Presbyterian Church of Katonah will be having a dedication of its new addition this coming Sunday, according to an announcement on its website. It will following a worship service that will start at 10 a.m.

In its announcement, the church recaps the years of work that went into the addition.

"After almost six years of planning, exacting permissions and municipal approval process, an extended year of site work and construction, the 330-member congregation is pleased to unveil to the public its largest capital project since the sanctuary was renovated in the late 1980s." it states. "This time, the church concentrated on providing greater handicap access, additional class- and meeting rooms, music rehearsal space, a new kitchen and new above-ground Fellowship Hall."

Gavin Meek, the church's interim pastor said in a statement on the website: “This is a long time in coming and it will indeed be a celebration! I’m sure you will enjoy the day and the former pastors, staff and members who will return for the event.”

There will be a reception in the addition area on the same day at 11:15 a.m.
