Last year 150 guests enjoyed the solstice at Rochambeau Farm. Historical Society member Mary Ann Hawley and Board Member Alex Hamer hosted the party at the "commanding heights" with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and dancing under the stars.
The party was such a hit that we decided to do it again this year but at a new location with a completely different vista. Timberline, located in Bedford Hills, sits above the tree line with mile long views. The party starts at 6:30 pm and will include an amazing assortment of appetizers including pizza baked in an outdoor oven, cocktails plus a secret recipe solstice-blitz, live music and of course, the wonderful company of friends and neighbors.
Thanks to the generosity of our hosts, again this year all proceeds will benefit the Historical Society's Properties Preservation Fund. Fundraisers and memberships help us maintain and preserve the historic properties and landmarks in and around Bedford Village. We hope you'll celebrate the Solstice and support the Historical Society on June 21st.
