A complaint naming Iovino—and referencing the possible embezzlement of about $230,000—was filed with the Bedford Police Department in October 2011, Lt. Jeffrey Dickan told Patch. Shortly thereafter, officials turned the investigation over to the FBI and the office of the US attorney.
