2. Practice runs in Lewisboro

Are you participating in the South Salem Memorial Day Races, this year set to You can participate in training runs this Saturday the 19th and the following Sat., May 26, before race day on May 28. 3. St. Patrick's Carnival opens tomorrow

The 36th annual carnival opens tomorrow at St. Patrick's in Bedford. It will feature your favorite rides and concessions and this year it also features a raffle for a new Chevy Camaro or $25,000 cash.

4. Voting is tomorrow for school budgets and elections

Tuesday May 15 the polls will be open at 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. for the school budget votes in Bedford Central Schools and Katonah Lewisboro Schools. Polling places are in local elementary schools. 5. Bedford Hills Library Fundraiser

The is hosting a fundraiser on June 3, at the historic Merestead House in Bedford Corners. The event features a tour of the house and gardens, luncheon in the Merestead dining room and a world-class concert in the barn featuring music by Bela Bartok and Pierre Jalbert performed by pianists Michael Boriskin, Artistic & Executive Director of Copland House, and Michael Barrett, Chief Executive & General Director of Caramoor.
