Though passionate reviews expressing loyalty to several of the studios were posted to their Patch listings, of the 324 total votes cast among six local martial arts centers, Marti Martial Arts received 157—or 48 percent—of the votes.
Marti Martial Arts Academy was founded in 2003 and is headed by Jose Marti. The studio offers training in karate, kickboxing, weapons, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, tae kwan do and kung fu.
