Bees at Westmoreland Sanctuary

Learn about the role of Honeybees and other native pollinators in our local environment.  A slide show and lecture explaining the role of insect pollination, natural history of the honey bee, and their relation to native insect pollinators will be followed by a walk outdoors to see who is pollinating flowers in the sanctuary’s gardens and habitats.  The walk will be canceled in the event of rain.  All ages welcome.  RSVP by Aug 8th.  $5 non-members / Free for members.
