CrossTalk: Dog Thoughts and Catwalks

 ,   Add to calendar

“The dog looks happy.”

“Is this shirt the right color?”

“I think the dog likes the shirt”

“Which shoes, loafers or boots?”

“I think the dog is depressed because she knows I’m going out”

And so goes the inner dialogue of many of us.

But what is the dog really thinking, and how do you know if you’ve made the right fashion decision? Join us for Crosstalk: Dog Thoughts and Cat Walks to find out.  Alexandra Horowitz, author and dog cognition expert and Joyce Corrigan, fashion editor and writer will discuss the world from their point of view, and we’ll see where these two very different worlds might collide.

Named Best Lecture Series by Westchester Magazine in 2010, CrossTalk is produced by the Katonah Museum of Art and the Katonah Village Library.

We remain committed to providing a high quality, well-balanced educational program that supports our faculty and staff and helps our students meet and exceed State standards as well as high district goals. It says nothing about protecting the investments of taxpayers by voting "no" on every expenditure. We need forward thinking, broad minded individuals to help guide educational direction of our schools. Keeping expenses reasonable and and in check should be a consideration by the educational focus should be primary. Although novices, Trustees Tobin and Schiff have helped true the course of the board back to the direction of education. Mr Stone who himself admitted he had never even been to a BOE meeting before deciding to run offers no sense of motivation other than Dr Treyz and his friends think he'll help shift the direction back toward finance. Mr Holbrook is no different a candidate than Mr Lipton himself was 6 years ago.
