Handling Common Injuries & Emergencies in Kids: First Aid and Beyond & Tips from the ER


This course covers what to do in a variety of emergency situations.


Topics include:

  • head injuries

  • dental injuries

  • sprains/strains/contusions/dislocations/fractures, 

  • animal bites

  • insect stings

  • poisonings

  • allergic reactions


In addition to first aid and initial management, the ins & outs of the Emergency Room are discussed: when to go and when not to go; when to insist on a plastic surgeon; and why certain tests are ordered.


You do not need to be a member of Parent-Child Group to attend.
