Katonah Village Improvement Society-MOVIE NIGHT

The Katonah Village Improvement Society presents the movie, "Sideways" on Friday, January 25th at 7:30 PM at the Katonah Village Library.

"Sideways" an Academy Award winning film, tells the story of Miles Raymond (Paul Giamatti) who is an unsuccessful write, a wine aficionado and depressed middle school English teacher who takes his soon-to-be married actor friend and former college roommate Jack (Thomas Haden Church) on a road trip through the Santa Ynez wine country. Miles wants to relax and live well. However, Jack wants one more fling before walking down the isle. This funny and poignant comedy hits the gas en route to a mid-life crisis.

This feature film will be presented by Lawrence LaManna, a local resident and the Director of the Sommelier Wine Academy. Mr. LaManna will be giving an interesting overview of the California wines depicted in the film.

A reception will follow the movie. A donation of $10 will be accepted at the door. No advance tickets.
