Katonah Village Library - Joan Slonczewski, Award Winning Science Fiction

All are invited to hear Joan Slonczewski, a former Katonah resident, will talk about her numerous science fictional writings, especially the latest work The Highest Frontier, her second John W. Campbell Memorial Award for best science fiction novel at the SCi-Fi Book Club's meeting. She previously won the Campbell award for A Door Into Ocean, the first book of her Elysium series.

The Highest Frontier contains “unique characters, witty scientific and societal extrapolations, and a complex, mind-blowing setting make this sedately paced narrative a delightfully amusing read.”  - Publisher’s Weekly

Sci-Fi Book Club's discussion of Variant by R. Wells is canceled.
