Talk on Scams that Target Seniors

Judy Prosper of the New York State Attorney General's office will speak on scams that target seniors at the monthly luncheon meeting of the Women's Civic Club of Katonah. Her talk will follow the luncheon and business meeting and will begin at approximately 1 p.m.

There is no charge for the program or the potluck luncheon, which members will provide. However, reservations are required and must be made by calling Mary Jo O'Brien, 666-2064.

Membership in the Civic Club is open to all area women. It is not necessary to be a Katonah resident. Members are required to work two half-days a month at the Katonah Thrift Shop, which is operated by volunteers. Proceeds support area charities and finance scholarships to local high school students.
