Extreme Concepts in Science, Religion and Philosophy

This presentation by Glenn Eisen explores many deep issues. Is
our universe the only one or are there multiverses? What is the future of Homo
sapiens’, has our evolution ended, will there be a “Homo Futurus, or is our
future extinction? What drives ethical and moral behavior? Is God the Creator
of man or was God created by man? All truths are not self-evident.
Investigating what distinguishes justified belief from opinion is an important
doorway to knowledge and freewheeling discussion.  Mr. Eisen serves
on the Greenburgh, New York Board of Ethics and as a counselor with the
Westchester County New York Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE)
assisting small businesses in America.
After retiring and until early 2012, he was a member of the National
Disaster Medical System (NDMS). With NDMS he responded to American and global
medical catastrophes with Federal medical, mortuary and/or veterinary
teams.  He has lectured worldwide on a
variety of subjects to audiences in business, education, medicine and social
organizations.
This program
presented by The Renard Active Retirement Lecture Series welcomes the entire
community.  The fee is $5 per
person.  For more information, please call Linda,
