Meet Kelly Corrigan - Author of Glitter and Glue - A Benefit for The Bereavement Center of Westchester

Meet renowned author, Kelly Corrigan at a special reading, Q&A, and book signing of her latest book, Glitter and Glue - a heartfelt homage to motherhood. Corrigan is exceptionally mesmerizing when talking about parental/child relationships and her third memoir, Glitter and Glue, is no exception.

This moving memoir talks about how Corrigan, at the age of 24, worked for five months as a nanny for an Australian widower with two young children. The experience had such an impact on her that she came to reconsider and appreciate her own mother.

The evening is a benefit for the Bereavement Center of Westchester, which offers grief support programs to help children and adults, individuals and family members, cope with the death of a significant person in their life. These programs have helped thousands of children and adults throughout Westchester as they come to terms with the loss of a loved one, be it a spouse, a sibling, a child or infant, a classmate, a guardian, best friend, or significant other. Proceeds will specifically benefit the Maggie Rose Perinatal Bereavement Program.
