South Salem Ghost Walk

Town historian Maureen Koehl will lead a “Ghost Walk,” a walking tour of local sites with a haunted history.  Thrill seekers and history buffs should meet at the library at 7 p.m. – armed with flashlights.  The one-hour tour will proceed through the Old White Churchyard, past various buildings in the village and along Spring Street toward the South Salem cemetery.  Be warned -- along the way we might encounter the spirits of a Civil War soldier, a mournful suicide, and even a ghost who loves showers!
