Community Corner

Spooky Pancake Breakfast

The Bedford Hills Lions Club will host its annual Halloween “Spooky” Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, October 27th
from 8 am – 1 pm at the Bedford Hills Community House on the corner of
Church and Main Streets (74 Main Street, Bedford Hills, NY).

The menu features all-you-can-eat pancakes, buttermilk or buckwheat, with butter, syrup and your choice of toppings – blueberry, chocolate chip, apple or cherry.  The meal comes with sausages plus coffee, tea, milk, or juice. Proceeds go to support the Bedford Hills Free Library’s youth programming.  Kathy Storfer, storyteller for the library, will be at the breakfast to make balloon hats for everyone attending.

As part of this years Lions District 20R1
ongoing efforts to recognize hunger awareness, we’re asking attendees to
each bring a non-perishable canned food item to the breakfast.  We will
then make the bulk donation to the Northern Westchester Community
Center in Katonah, NY.
