Community Corner

The 49th Annual Christmas Bazaar at Christ Church on Quaker Hill, Pawling, NY

This annual community event will once again feature its traditional elements: Silent Auction of goods & services, Wreaths & Holiday Plants, Books, Jewelry, Baked Goods, along with the White Elephant bargains. Shoppers may also partake of a delicious Luncheon provided by McKinney& Doyle Restaurant, and served in the Church’s historic Memorial Hall beginning at 11:30am. The North Pole is of special interest to children. They can shop, make a craft and have a picture taken with Santa Claus!

A Special Note to regular attendees: The new Guest Service Center, designed to handle all of your purchases in one convenient payment will be located just inside the entrance to the Thomas Center. The new Morning Café located in Memorial Hall will be open from 9-11am. This One-Stop Shopping experience offers you the unique opportunity to give hope to those in need in our community at large while finding those unique gifts for those special individuals on your gift giving list.

All of the proceeds from this World Famous event are distributed through the Outreach Ministry of Christ Church. Among the local causes that benefit from the Christmas Bazaar are the Pawling Resources Center, and River Haven Youth Shelter. Funds are also distributed to the extended community such as World Vision, the Salvation Army, and many, many other organizations.
