Volunteer Work Session

PRLC's volunteer work sessions are a fun way to get the benefits of fresh air and exercise while learning hands-on how to better care for the environment on your own property.  Bring work gloves and lend a hand to help restore the hiking trail through this gem of a preserve, which was blocked last year by storm-downed trees.  Originally planted as a bird sanctuary, and donated by the founder of PRLC, Ed Russell, over 100 different species of birds have been observed here including Woodcock, Great Blue Heron, Bittern, Golden Winged Warbler, American Redstart, nesting Screech Owls, Crested Flycatchers, Wood Ducks, and many others.  Please see our website and email me for more information about volunteer opportunities with PRLC.
