American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Katonah-Lewisboro Kickoff Party

One person can truly make a difference.

This is true with the American Cancer Society fundraiser Relay for Life that is coming to Lewisboro on June 22, 2012 at John Jay High School!

Relay For Life, the American Cancer Society’s signature event, is a life-changing experience that helps us celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones whom we have lost, and to fight back against a disease that takes too much. This unforgettable event raises awareness and funds to save lives, helps those touched by cancer, and empowers people to fight back against this disease. The experience at the track will be breathtaking, educational, fun and inspirational.

Relay For Life includes a celebration of cancer survivors who kickoff the event with the first lap around the track. The Luminaria Ceremony at sundown is an emotional time to reflect on friends and family who have lost their battle and help support each other. As new friends are made or time is spent with old ones, the Relay heats up and the camp-out begins. A festive atmosphere of camaraderie is created with team members entertaining each other: eating, playing games, and, of course, walking for a great cause.

Join us for our Relay For Life of Katonah-Lewisboro Kickoff Party on Thursday, February 16th, at 7:30pm at John Jay High School and learn everything you need to know about Relay!
