Antiques and Gently Used Treasures at the Pound Ridge Garden Club Sale

Looking for furnishings and decorative pieces for your home or a child's first apartment? Or perhaps a
replacement umbrella for the one Hurricane Irene blew away?

The Pound Ridge Garden Club's tag sale at Conant Hall
September 24 -25 is the place to shop. Not only will you find lovely items in excellent condition but every dollar spent will go to the club's ongoing community beautification projects.

The "Recycled Treasures" sale runs from 10 am
to 5 pm on Saturday, Sept. 24, and 12 to 4 pm on Sunday, Sept. 25. It will include antiques, gardening supplies such as tools and cachepots; small furniture and household items such as lamps, mirrors, and dishes; sports
equipment; books; and fun personal items, including handbags and jewelry. All will be carefully selected and priced to sell.

Proceeds from the sale will support the garden club's
community projects, including daffodil planting along Pound Ridge roadsides, projects for seniors, garden development at A-Home, and post-hurricane
restoration of public areas such as the triangles by the elementary school and library.

The Pound Ridge Garden Club is a community service and
educational organization, founded in 1941 and affiliated with National Garden Clubs Inc., Federated Garden Clubs of New York State, Inc., 9th District, Section 2B. Membership is open to anyone interested in horticulture, floral design, environmental planting and resource conservation.
