Garden Tour with the Pound Ridge Land Conservancy

The gardens at the Armstrong Education Center are comprised of 6 integrated components including: a circular mandala garden, honeybees, tree nursery, compost systems, and coming soon, chickens and native landscaping.  Come take a nice Sunday tour and see how these components work together to make a sustainable backyard food system.  See our techniques for keeping healthy soils, reducing wastesand promoting local biodiversity.

This event is taking place at the Armstrong Education Center, an off-the-grid residence and demonstration site for 'low-impact' lifestyle practices.  The center is owned and operated by the Pound Ridge Land Conservancy.  The workshop's facilitators, Tate Bushell, lives on the premises.
