HSBC Premier and HSBC Mortgage Partners with Rivertown Film

On Wednesday evening, June 15, the HSBC Bank will host a special Cocktail/Reception/Benefit Auction for Rivertown Film, with proceeds to go towards funding special programs and purchasing much-needed equipment.  All auction items have been donated by generous supporters, and include "experiences" such as a weekend escape to a magnificent guesthouse on Cape Cod and a private screening reception for forty guests at Goldcrest Films' screening room in Manhattan.

The event will take place in the bank's lobby, thanks to the corporate sponsorship of HSBC Premier and HSBC Mortgage, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm.

"We are delighted to sponsor this event because we believe in the mission of Rivertown Film," says Ms. Irina Damyanidu-Holmes, Vice President/Branch Manager at HSBC.  "We also see the significance of the business community coming together with the Arts to create a better Nyack."

Rivertown Film, now celebrating its tenth anniversary, is a non-profit organization supported in part by the New York State Council on the Arts, by sponsorship from the The Hook, Access Storage and Good Samaritan Hospital as well as a loyal and growing membership from Rockland County and beyond.  It regularly screens documentary, foreign and independent films in Nyack, hosts filmmakers and other guests for post-screening Q&A's, and showcases the work of Rockland filmmakers at venues around the county.

Seating for the auction is limited, so reservations are required.  To reserve, call Chris Steinert at (518) 253-3691 or e-mail him at chris.x.steinert@us.hsbc.com .
