"Paws for the Cause" T-Shirt Design

Grades K - 5. The therapy dogs from Ridgefield Operation Animal Rescue spent the summer here being good listeners to our young readers.  Now it is our turn to help them! ROAR is having their annual “Paws for the Cause” walk on Sunday, October 2 at 1 pm. to benefit the animal rescue shelter. The walk, which takes place on Main Street Ridgefield, will be led by the therapy dog teams – and they have invited all their reading partners to walk with them! Any child designing their own ROAR 2011 Paws for the Cause T-shirt and registering for the walk will be automatically entered into a random drawing to win Deborah Ann Gift Cards. So go to www.roar-ridgefield.org to register for the Walk, and then come to the library to design your t-shirt. Please call the library to sign-up for the t-shirt program, and remember to bring a plain shirt to decorate that day.  All other materials will be supplied.
