Halloween Parade in Bedford Village

Kids got a chance to march through Bedford Village on Thursday for the hamlet's Halloween parade.

The parade, which went through Court Street and stopped at Bedford Village Elementary School, was the first in three years, according to organizer Mark Boyland; it was canceled in 2011 due to a snow storm and again in 2012 due to Hurricane Sandy.

The event, co-sponsored by the Bedford Village Lions Club and the Bedford Fire Department, also had cider and donuts for the kids, according to Boyland.

Photos of the parade are attached to this story.
