John Jay Varsity Softball Defeats Somers 12-1
John Jay Softball improves to 7-5 in win at Somers.
Freshman catcher Kayla Fisher and left fielder Devon Novick drove in 3 runs each in a 12-1 victory over Somers. Sophmore Theresa Swertfager pitched all 7 innings for the win. The team played solid defense in support of Swertfager in keeping Somers to only 1 run. John Jay's next game is on Wednesday at home against Mahopac.
