Release Your Inner Artist: Secure a Spot in a Museum Exhibition at the Katonah Museum of Art

Open Call for Portrait Submissions at the Katonah Museum of Art: Sept. 30 deadline!
Do you aspire to see your artwork hanging on the walls of an internationally-recognized art museum?  Or would you like to be part of a community event that will provide museum visitors with an up-to-the minute look at portraiture today?  Here's your chance!

Individuals of all ages are invited to participate in a high-profile exhibition at the Katonah Museum of Art: Face-to-Face Community Portraits, which will be displayed in the Museum’s Project Gallery during the exhibition Eye to I ... 3,000 Years of Portraits, opening on Oct. 27. Submissions will be accepted now through September 30, 2013.  Submission forms can be found at: http://tinyurl.com/qchefza.

Please note the following guidelines:
- Only one (1) submission per person
- Each piece size: 6 x 6 inches (including frame), no more than 3 inches thick
- Artwork must be original
- Artwork should be “ready-to-hang”
- Artwork must be anonymous; the artist’s signature should appear only on the back
- Two (2) signed submission forms must accompany the artwork
- Artwork must not be toxic or dangerous to visitors
