See the Northern Lights and Other Epic Icelandic Experiences in The Fire Within at the Katonah Museum of Art
Now Through September 28 in KMA’s Project Gallery
To complement its current exhibition, ICELAND: Artists Respond to Place, the Katonah Museum of Art presents a cinematic meditation on the spirit of Iceland from award-winning Scandinavian-American filmmaker Eric Heimbold. Heimbold captures epic experiences of Iceland’s volcanoes, glaciers, waterfalls, and Northern Lights interspersed with the indigenous flora, fauna, and human faces that populate this unique island nation. The effect is a fully-immersive unique experience set on 4-foot by 20-foot wide HD screen. See the trailer here: http://vimeo.com/100996643.
