Nominating Petition Time!

If you're a registered Democrat in Lewisboro, your Democratic District Leaders are coming around to gather signatures for this year's Nominating Petitions. These are required by New York State Election Law in order for party nominees to appear on the ballot in November. Only registered Democrats are eligible to sign, and the process must be completed by early July. 

You'll be asked to sign four petitions for town and county candidates. Remember, signing a nominating petition does NOT obligate you in any way to support or vote for anybody -- it merely enables the party's nominees to appear on the ballot. So please welcome our District Leaders if they come to your door looking for your signature. And DON'T sign the same petition more than once -- your signatures will be disqualified if you do!
