Community Update

Do not bring your nice cloths to this Cleaner unless you want them ruined. He is inexperienced with high end fabrics and lies when he ruins your clothes. This is my first review. I felt compelled to let my community know how terrible this cleaner is after my past and last visit to Nu Touch. I had a bad experience with them over 6 months ago when I brought my $300 custom made shirt to just be cleaned as it is a dry clean only shirt, to have it returned with a 2" fresh tare in the back of the shirt. I did not bring this shirt in with any damage, in fact I never wore that shirt with out a jacket on. The owner refused to speak to me over the damage and insisted that I brought it in that way. Why would he not call me and why would he still attempt to clean it if I brought it in like that? Wouldn't the smart thing to do be call the customer and confirm that there is such damage on an item before attempting any service... Lie number 1.
On a second event that happened with this cleaner was when my wife dropped off another one of my shirts (Tommy Bahama $150 shirt + $90 custom tailoring) without remembering my past experience here. Like the previous mess up, This shirt was worn the entire night with a sport jacket over it and never removed. It required dry cleaning only due to its unique fabric. It had no stains on it at all. When it was picked up it had what looked like bleach dots speckled on the back of the shirt and you could see another spot back there where it was attempted to have been scrubbed off! (the bleach spot was spread out) When my wife picked up the shirt, he did not say anything about it until she noticed it. He still charged her for the cleaning and again refused to take responsibility for the damage claiming that it was brought in like that! Again why would you work on a garment that was brought in damaged like that? If it was really damaged why would I pay to have it cleaned, and why would you not contact the customer before cleaning to cover your self??? SECOND LIE.

I have been a Katonah resident for 35 years and have used all the other cleaners in town over the year. I have never had such a terrible experience with a business owner in this town like this before! This business owner is not even a resident near this area or town. Do your self a big favor an go to one of the many other cleaners in town.
