Obituaries

Wanda Pinchbeck, 82, South Salem Library Volunteer

Friends and relatives are invited to attend a graveside service at Bedford Union Cemetery, Bedford, NY on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 11 a.m.

Wanda Hanlin Pinchbeck, 82, of Bethel, CT, widow of William I. Pinchbeck, died on January 27.  She was born to the late Harrison and Mary Myrtle Hanlin on January 27, 1931 in Derry, PA.

Mrs. Pinchbeck graduated from Derry High School.  Before moving to Bethel she lived in South Salem, NY for many years where she was a longtime volunteer for the South Salem Public Library and an active member of the South Salem Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Pinchbeck is survived by her daughter Deborah Garber and husband Peter, of Vero Beach, FL and Wilton, CT, her daughter Jane Scott and husband Edward, of Bethel, CT, her son John Pinchbeck of Norwalk, CT, and her six grandchildren, Edward Scott Jr., Lisa Scott, Pamela Garber, Emily Garber, Jeffrey Garber, and Kelly Pinchbeck. She was predeceased by 3 brothers, Edward, Donald and Wilbert Hanlin, and 2 sisters, Stella Ament and Edith Ryan.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend a graveside service at Bedford Union Cemetery, Bedford, NY on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 11 a.m.
