Raymond F. Hickey, 81, of Bedford, NY died Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Mr. Hickey was born August 1, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY.
Raymond worked and started his own Insurance Business, Hickey & Hickey, in NYC in 1957, relocating to Bedford in 1968. He retired after 50 years in 2001, leaving his two sons continuing the business today.
Raymond is survived by his wife of 60 years: Elizabeth (Kilcourse) Hickey; 5 children: Raymond F. Jr., Mary H. Palmerton, Brian J., Michael D., and Peter J. Hickey; and 16 grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 28 at 11AM at St. Patrick's Church, Route 22, Bedford Village, NY. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Mt. Kisco, NY.
